Chaucer House is quietly situated in Keswick opposite the church of St. John, away from the noise and bustle of town and traffic, yet within minutes of the Moot Hall, the town centre, theatre and Lake Derwentwater. As a family owned and managed hotel, our reputation is based on our attentive and friendly service without undue formality. The lounges and cocktail bar are bright and comfortably furnished; they feature craftsman-built local stone fireplaces, and paintings of lake scenes by local artists.
