The hotel has an excellent a la carte menu complemented by an imaginative wine list and a selection of ales, served in the comfortable lounge bar with an open fireplace. The bar leads on to a charming terrace and beer garden. The 11 en-suite bedrooms have been tastefully refurbished in 2002 and have colour TV, iron and ironing board, CD stereo system, a copy of the complete works of Shakespeare, plus tea and coffee making facilities. There are two four-poster bedrooms and a honeymoon suite called the Romeo and Juliet suite, which has a four-poster bedroom, small lounge and a Jacuzzi.
