All twelve bedrooms have private bathroom, television, telephone, hair-drier, and tea and coffee making facilities. The luxury rooms have a courtesy area with a refrigerator, and most have a balcony with sea views. You can relax and enjoy your dinner in our elegant candlelit Sea Terrace Restaurant, overlooking the panoramic views of the coastline, or you can have a snack in the lounge bar enjoying the same views. This gives a good value for money with something to suit every pocket, and excellent service. During the summer months, Shaldon holds a 1785 day every Wednesday with local people dressing up in costume and selling their home-made goods from stalls on the village green. Within 50 yards of the hotel we have a wildlife zoo with some fascinating unusual animals and an approach golf course; and 20 yards away we have the Smugglers Tunnel that takes you down to the secluded Ness Beach, sheltered by the Ness Cliff. You can enjoy tennis or join a boat on fishing trips. Watersports and horse riding are both available close by. If you are not feeling energetic, sit and enjoy a cream tea in the hotel gardens watching the busy picture of the harbour and river from a distance. Car Parking facilities are to the front and back of the hotel. All rooms are now non-smoking
